Meet Rachael!
I have been an avid learner of natural, holistic living since as long as I can remember. Incorporating movement into my routine has always been standard, starting with an intensive dance schedule for over 10 years. Eventually I needed less competitive dance and more gentle, spiritual, inspirational movement. So I turned to yoga. A loving, inclusive, beautiful, personal practice. No performance. Even in a room full of people it’s just me and myself on my mat working through what I needed to. What needs to come up always does on the mat. Shifts are made. New perspectives are gained. The heart opens. The body softens.
I needed to learn more and share this admiration for the practice so I got my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification my senior year of high school, in 2017. Along with yoga, my fitness and strength journey deepened, and I fell in love with Hot Pilates/HIIT, leading to me getting my certification in Inferno Hot Pilates in 2020. This practice has deeply benefited me physically and mentally, building strength, stamina, willpower and confidence. It was seamlessly incorporated coinciding my yoga practice which had provided me with helpful mobility and flexibility, as well as countless mental and spiritual benefits. Teaching the two modalites and spreading my love is a great joy.
I teach a range of classes from Slow Flow, Open Level, and Power Vinyasa Yoga to Hot Pilates/HIIT. All classes are mindfully prepared to bring an enjoyable, mindful, accessible, and rewarding experience to my students, who amaze and inspire me every day. I love what I do and I am eternally grateful!
