Meet Bob!
Hello, I’m Bobby, a 200 hour RYT and Certified Breathwork Instructor.
My Yogic practice presented itself to me about 8 years ago when I made the choice to stop drinking. As with many others who struggle with alcoholism and addiction problems, I found myself pulled to Meditation to quiet my mind and help find clarity. As my journey unfolded, I stumbled into Yoga to deepen my Meditation practice.
About a month later I found myself enrolled in a teacher training program held here at Mission Yoga. Possibly one of the most intelligent decisions I have made to this point.
At first I found the practice a little awkward and foreign, however the more I practiced the more fluid the movements became and I am hooked. Yes, the foundations of the physical practice are extremely important to me, however I like to use the Asanas to plow our way through and really find that spiritual side of the practice. To help find our center, calm our minds, improve clarity, and unlock our True Self.
A forever student, I still surprise myself everyday with how much my practice is still expanding, both physically and mentally. I would love to have you all in a class to see what we could learn from each other. I lead Yoga classes Monday mornings 9:30 AM - Scranton studio, Tuesdays 9:30 AM in the hot room - South Abington, and Thursday nights 7 PM hosting a Pranayama/Breathwork Meditation group - Scranton studio.
If you have been hesitant to start a Yogic practice, the time is now to put whatever is holding you back aside and find your way to a class! Just walk through the door, lay down on a mat, find a deep cleansing breath, and let everything else just happen.
