Meet Gianna!
From a young age, I understood the importance of the mind-body connection and the full-body benefits it brings. I danced for 15 years, studying ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop. After graduating high school, I explored different hobbies to try and maintain that connection.
In 2019, a life event led me back home to Scranton during a challenging time. Seeking balance, I tried Mission Yoga—and it truly changed my life. I practiced at least twice a day, every day, both at the studio and at home, rediscovering a sense of peace, confidence, and that deep mind-body connection once again.
In 2023, eager to deepen my practice and share the magic of yoga with others, I completed Mission Yoga’s Teacher Training Program. By March 2024, I was grateful to begin teaching at the very place that had given me so much.
My classes are creative, playful, and fun, encouraging students to listen to their bodies, stay present, and build confidence in their movement. I love the energy of a room full of people flowing together, free from distractions, fully immersed in the moment—it’s truly the best feeling.
