Meet Dawn!
My spiritual journey began in 2005 by studying ancient teachings and meditation. After facing a time of hardship, I self-proclaimed “my life needed changing and the Buddha found me.” I went on to spend years educating myself about spirituality, meditation techniques, and the power of sound healing.
I began practicing yoga during the pandemic in 2020 to obtain movement and peace of mind, this is “when the true magic started to happen.”
As my passion for yoga grew, so did my interest in wanting to share my knowledge and skills with others. So, I enrolled in Mission Yoga’s RYT 200 hour Teacher Training Program, in which I completed and graduated from in February of 2024.
I began teaching classes in April of 2024. My classes demonstrate in the style of Vinyasa and during the lessons, I incorporate breathing techniques, mindfulness, movement, and meditation. Having a background of 10 years in performing and teaching Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Ballroom, I have an understanding and strong connection with body movement. This provides me with the ability to hold and express awareness of the body.
As well as my love for family, nature, and animals, I believes yoga has been my “missing piece” all along.
